The vice is available in
either the Universal or Swivel forms to fit all March Tool
and Cutter Grinding Machines. It has a capacity jaw area 72mm
wide x 22mm deep, opening to 41m (2, 13/16" x 7/8 x 1,
9/16").
The Universal Vice is fully universal in
3 planes and is designed for rapid setting with readily visible
graduations.
The Swivel Vice is fully adjustable in one
plane through 360'
The design of the vice is common to both
Universal and Swivel units, thus it is possible to convert
a Universal vice into a Swivel vice, with minimum of lost
time by using the conversion kit.
This is an extremely versatile attachment
not only for use in tool grinding, but also for surface grinding
and in light drilling and milling applications.
